Martin Harvey runs training workshops on subjects including:

  • insect conservation and identification
  • IT for biological recorders (including iRecord, MapMate, MS Access and use of online resources)
  • wildlife recording

Workshops can be designed to meet a range of requirements, from beginners to more advanced. Clients have included: Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust; Botanical Society of the British Isles; BTCV; Butterfly Conservation; Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR); Chiltern Conservation Board; Field Studies Council; North Pennines AONB; and RSPB. Martin also teaches on the MSc in Biological Recording at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Martin Harvey is an experienced tutor, having led wildlife workshops for over 20 years. In 2008 he completed the City & Guilds Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
